Compelling summary of human rights / HIV link discussed at Vienna AIDS Conference

Vermont CARES has concurred with the World Health Organization and others for years that encouraging human rights globally – and locally – is instrumental in reducing new HIV infections.  Oppression, stigma, and putative policy together create environments in which this virus can spread more easily, increasing the human impact on all of us.  A clear and concise summary of discussions at the recent International AIDS Conference in Vienna is linked here:

    The conference certainly made a compelling connection between global human rights and HIV prevention.
